Taylor Swift’s newest album Speak Now sold more than a milliom copies in its first week.No album has sold a million albums in a first week since Lil’ Wayne’s Tha Carter III in 2008!
According to Hits Daily Double, the 20-year-old country superstar is also set to break the mark for percentage of total sales in a single week, with 17-18%. That means almost 1 out of every 5 CDs or download sales this week will be Speak Now.
